Everything is ‘New’ Again!

If you’ve been following us here at The Play Place for more than a year, or you have any kind of experience or friends who work primarily on the web, you’ve heard of “The Summer Slump”.

It typically runs from June thru mid September. The time a lot of people are on ‘Summer Vacation’, enjoying the nicer weather, taking those trips, or at least getting outside a bit instead of sitting in front of their computers or game systems and surfing the web.

For us, and a lot of other companies, traffic plummets, sales plummet, and archive membership renewals pretty much stop. We typically spend this time in production of what we dub ‘Our Big Summer Movie’. Because with the ‘business’ mostly in a holding pattern, we have a couple of months to focus on the ‘new stuff’.

You probably recognize that Ass, and probably even the bathroom.

This year’s ‘Big Summer Movie’ is “Blood of Ohma”. It’s a heavy handed thriller about what happens to a pair of Bigfoot Hunters after they actually find and kill one. It stars Maddy along side Mark Cray as the Bigfoot Hunters. It also includes the return of one of our favorites Larry Laverty, who you’ve seen as ‘The Sheriff’ in “House of Bedlam”. Rounding out the cast is Playboy™ Model and Actress Angelina Leigh.

Also New here at ‘Maddy G’ is a brand new Social Network at www.MaddyBook.com – It’s still being built and tested, but will emerge in a couple of weeks as a place where Adults can be Adults without the bullshit censorship that happens at sites like Facebook.

This project has been on our radar for a bit now. Ever since Maddy got suspended at Facebook for showing her ass cheek in a picture, we knew that we had to find another place to stay in touch with our friends and fans.

A few of the ‘Play Place Girls’ opened accounts at Plugin.com only to find out they only pretend to be a social network. It turns out, they are really a repository for stolen porn and apparently, where all the fake profiles in the world go to die.

After a couple of weeks, we caused such a stir over there that Plugin closed all accounts associated with Maddy G and several other members who shared links to The Play Place.

It was a reminder that we’re not the only Adults on the planet looking for a real Social Network that isn’t populated by teenagers and Drama Queens. So, we fast tracked this project and it’ll be open to the public in the next few weeks.

Maddy’s about halfway thru production on “Where There’s Smoke 3 in 3D” and “Fuck My Face POV 2”. Member’s of The Archives have been enjoying scenes from these films already.

Catching Up at The Play Place

Things have been a little crazy around here as of late.

As a lot of you know, we’ve been in production on “Blood of Ohma”, which is our ‘Big Summer Movie’. It’s also the largest project we’ve attempted in both it’s complexity and it’s scope.

We finished Principal Photography August 1st, which is the majority of the movie. While it wasn’t without it’s ‘hitches’, we made it thru the two week shoot with relative ease.

Sadly, on August 4th, a few days after Production ended, Maddy’s father passed away. He was a victim of cancer.

A Bit About Allison Rhodes

If you’ve been following me on Facebook, you noticed that I’ve recently recovered a large batch of photos from our archives that I previously thought were lost forever.

Among the photos I’ve recently recovered are my first photo sets with Allison Rhodes. Allison was among the first of Maddy’s contract girls when she started expanding her company in 2001.

Allison was an all natural beauty with a wicked kinky side who seemed to be horny all the time. Not to mention, a body that just wouldn’t quit.

Bubble Girl & Pixie Stixx

The concept art for “Bubble Girl & Pixie Stixx” was released on Facebook today and none of us here were surprised by the questions about Maddy and Stella in full on Super Hero mode.

The concept art was created by Illustrator Dennis Willman.

The show is called “The Top Secret Adventures of Bubble Girl and Pixie Stixx” and it’ll be another MaddyGTV original. Production is scheduled for 2nd Quarter 2012.

As far as the story is concerned, all I can tell you is that Marie Madison and Stella Marie play modern day Super Hero’s.

You know Stella from ‘S & P’ in Series 4 of “Inside Marie’s Play Place” and you heard her own sordid version of it in “Lil Stella’s Really Short Stories”. She’s the hottest little thing on IPTV.

I can tell you that I’m writing the script with Adam Moore, which will be officially our 5th Date. And you all know what happens on the 5th Date.

The last thing I can tell you is that Madison Marie is attached.

Ooooooh…. didn’t see THAT ONE coming, did you?

Working on Snowdog’s “The Four”

This week, I’ll be joining Jason Hull on set as production resumes on his newest opus, “The Four” which is an action / horror film about a Biker Gang on a mission from Hell.
It co-stars Angelina Leigh, who some of you have probably seen in Playboy.

She plays Famine, who gets seduced by a drunk slutty named April, who is played by our very own Marie Madison.


This happens right before she goes and hunts down a chick named Carlie.

I’ve even heard Erica Soto will be there and she’s wearing leather.

If she’s got even half the chops everyone says she has, I might try and slip her a script.
And no, that was not a euphemism.
Clearly, Jason Hull is working with some kind of “Hot Girl Per Second” quota that few in independent film have seen yet. Except maybe the guys at Raw Footage, but they don’t share their secrets.

I’ll be working as Production Manager this week, but I’ll have a camera, so you can follow along on MaddyGTV.com.

How “Avatar XXX 3D” Got It Horribly Wrong

I just got the chance to watch Axel Braun’s “This Ain’t Avatar XXX” in actual 3D. I remember back a couple of months ago, when we were working on “Oral Servitude 3 in 3D”, I was talking to Mark Hamilton over at Pulse Distribution about other 3D Movies in the market, and he said “Hustler did one, but they fucked something up, and it didn’t work.” I’m pretty sure now, this is the ‘one’ he was talking about.

This isn’t going to be a diatribe against the ‘Porn Parody’. You either like them, or you don’t. It’s pretty much all ‘Porn Valley’ is fixated on right now, so I find a way to live with it.

The general idea of a ‘Porn Parody’ is to essentially tell the same story as the ‘Hollywood’ Source Material, but adding the fantasy element of explicit sex. If you watched “Avatar” and wondered what these blue chicks look like naked, you’re not alone.

And if you have this image in your head, then you certainly want to know what it looks like to bang it out with an Avatar. Maybe like this?

There’s a surprising amount of graphic art on the internet that’s attempting to answer this question. Porn Director Axel Braun is not one to avoid anyone’s bandwagon, so he offers us his interpretation as well with “This Ain’t Avatar XXX”.

So clearly, right there… something is wrong.

Why are all the Avatar’s dicks NOT BLUE?

And if these things are 9 feet tall, then is that Human chick getting pounded back there ALSO 9 feet tall?

Of course, the entire ‘Porn World’ couldn’t wait to get in line to applaud this mess and the ‘Industry’ started piling up awards on Axel’s desk because well… I guess it’s “Hustler” and it’s considered in ‘bad taste’ to bash The Godfather.

Well, I’ve met Larry, and I’m pretty sure he can take a few honest criticisms from someone who desperately wanted to like this film.

Whatever. Axel Braun left his dignity in the backseat of his Bentley along with his talent. What is most disappointing about “This Ain’t Avatar XXX” is the 3D Version.

Braun spent more money on his set pieces than we spent on the entire production of both “Oral Servitude 3 in 3D” and the upcoming “MILF’s From The 3rd Dimension” combined.

So, how the fuck did he not have the resources to get the depth of field right so it didn’t turn out as a headache inducing blur of blues and pinks?

This is an example of one of the ‘effect’ shots where Evan Stone (in back) is trying to get his hand to ‘pop’ thru the front of the screen. If the depth of field wasn’t holding on Danica Dillan, it would have worked, and the viewer would have ducked to miss.

This is just one of many examples throughout the film of failed attempts at 3D trickery. Starting with the ‘Hustler’ logo at the beginning of the film, which was a complete blur.

It wasn’t  ALL unwatchable, there are a couple of scenes in which the 3D effect worked nicely.

They are so few and far between, that I have to assume that the shots came together by accident.
