Sales Day At Maddy G June 2 2009

So, how we got here is a fairly long and mostly unbelievable tale, so I'll just say that Marie Madison had the idea for the World's First Adult Sitcom in 2005 and worked her ghetto booty off to raise the money and rally the support she needed to pull it off.

So, it happened, and we're here in Erie producing "Inside Marie's Play Place",  which is unlike anything the adult industry has ever seen before. We spent the last three month's building our sets and lighting and crewing up and casting up,  and we're now releasing new episodes of the show a couple times a week, and we're shot ahead a couple of months.

June 5th, the first Volume of our show is being released on DVD and being made available to any video store, distributor or cable / satalite provider who wants to pick it up.

So, yesterday was deamed a 'sales' day, with Marie charging everyone in the company with selling the show, and finding distributors.

Fortunately for me, my job mostly involves getting the show shot and cut into all the different formats it's available. This job requires about 30 hours a day to complete properly, so I'm more or less exempt from the sales floor.

Still, I've been working in the adult industry for the last 12 years or so,  and along the way, I've made quite a few contacts of my own, so I've made a few calls myself.

Anyway... new fish Bradley hit the road yesterday with our Production

Manager D.J. and headed to Cleveland to visit with the adult video stores along the way, and hopefully get to talk to someone in charge of purchasing at General Video of America (GVA) who owns like a gazzillion 'Adult Mart's' and is considered one of the biggest distributors of Adult Entertainment around.

In classic fashion, Bradley rolls into GVA like he owns the place, and nearly immediately gets apprehended by security who promptly (yet politely) ask him to leave the property.

Because Bradley is not the type of dude to go down without taking a swing,  while security is removing him, he calls GVA and gets in touch with their Head of Purchasing on the way out.

And now he has an actual appointment.

I swear, some days the actual shit that happens to us is funnier than the stuff that ends up in the show.

Jade is here this week, which is always a hoot. That girl is about as crazysexy as they, uhm, come.

And we just got word that Jenny Densuke is leaving LA on Friday and will be here next week to begin working on the show. I can't wait to finally meet her.
